I think the Ducks always seem to come up short with the goaltender position. First it was Hillier, then Anderson, and now Gibson is not yet there as a number 1. Its probably become a real issue in the heads of the players, I am sure the Oilers are chirping them about it constantly.

Why do you feel that way? Calgary didn't have a chance to draft him. It's disgusting that Edmonton received so many top 4 draft picks that, despite world-class incompetence, they managed to find a few good players.

Didn't watch the game - again. Sounds like Todd and his little band of Greasers maybe gave the Ducks some motivation for Game 7. Even when they win, they are stupid. Go Ducks. And whoever wins, the Preds are getting a lot of rest.

Yes, so many "battles" the Oilers have sloughed through this season.
I am still not all that impressed. The Sharks were the weakest matchup in the Division, and the Ducks have suffered some pretty average to awful goaltending, and yet could still eliminate the Oilers.

They ARE a one man team (with a little help from Draisaitl).
Talbot is the sole reason this series is going 7 games, otherwise the Ducks would have wrapped this up in game 5. In fact, he's the main reason they're even in the playoffs to begin with.

I'm not worried. The grease weren't going to lose all 3 at home, even though the Ducks are the better team, tendency to take your foot off the gas when you have an advantage usually happens with all teams. This was the first game that the Oil outplayed the Ducks, assisted by the Ducks not showing up.
They'll win at home, only way the Oil have any chance is if Talbot has the best game of his life. The good thing about tonight is you know the Ducks will be pissed off.

This is a team that has relied on Talbot for the vast majority of it's wins. Tonight was the rare exception.
