Not trying to defend the Oilers, but how was the Bennett goal in round one goalie interference but this one isn't. Honestly, what the hell is the point of reviewing a play when the people making the call can't even agree on a standard.

Not sure who stayed tuned in after the game but they went back to the panel and showed a clip on the bench after the game where McDavid taps a deflated Drasaitl and says; "Let's go". The panel just gushed over that like it was the biggest leadership thing since Messier guaranteeing that win over the Devils in 1994. I get that he's good but the praise is just so over the top that the sports networks are really making it hard to appreciate what is a really good player.

Impressed with Talbot in these interviews. He's not biting on the dickhead reporters trying to rile him up. Oilers MVP this season.

Kesler has / puts his hand right back where it belongs on his stick. Talbot's pad is in the way and resting on his stick. Kesler did NOT just grab Talbot's leg or pad. He did grab his own stick and Talbot's pad was under his arm. That's hockey. Suck it, Oilers.

They called the Bennett one no-goal on the ice and this one was ruled a goal initially.

I think that determines the final call most of the time because the actual collisions are so multi-faceted and difficult to determine the true cause, so they just rule it inconclusive and stick with the on-ice call.

Lucic is not happy. I get it, but if you're going to complain that one call changed the game, why isn't he ticked off on the high stick/interference missed call on Perry to make it 3-0?

I get why Oiler fans are ticked, but there were missed calls both ways.

Either way, 3-0 with 3 minutes left, kinda lame to make this all about the officiating.

I'm glad that the SNET guys don't get this worked up covering Flames games. Some of this stuff is getting into embarrassing territory.

They had 30 minutes after to earn a win. They decided to sulk instead of seize the win.

Ducks deserved to be tied or ahead at that point as they were the clear cut winners of periods 1 and 3.

Talbot seems like a good dude. Too bad he's stuck playing for that dumpster fire of a franchise. I feel sorry for him.

Lucic really showed his worth on that last goal. Covering the invisible man (nobody) but even worse, skating away from the middle of the ice when he should've been drifting towards the middle. Sure enough, two steps too far away from Perry when Perry got into that space off the great pass, in that space. Nevermind he looked totally gassed with his shoulders slumped.

And outshot 64-38. I don't recall any game this postseason where the Oilers outshot their opposition? Maybe one or two games against the Sharks but that's it. They are lucky to be where they are.

Post game Talbot and Lucic already Whining about Kesler not getting up / holding Talbots pads.

Kesler was trying to get up, but his stick was stuck under Talbots pads. In real time, he probably only tries once before the puck goes in.

I think the call was right in the end. It was a big pileup/scramble that was caused by Nurse.

Oiler fans are the worst and I feel no sympathy for them.
