Will that SH goal puts the exclamation point on a 2016-17 season of heartbreaking moments for Flames/Heat/Thunder/CHL prospect/NCAA prospect hockey!
The agony of defeat in an extra painful way by so many of our current and future stars! Got to bode well for the future with lessons learned...

Pretty decent season overall. Very young team that came back from a brutal losing streak to make the playoffs and push one of the best teams to OT in the deciding game.
I like what I see from a lot of the youngsters, Janko of course, but Kulak, Andersson, Eat Bread all looked good when I watched them play. Kylington......not sure what to make of him.

I'll be mad af in Oct if
-Janko is not given at least a few games to start
-(barring acquisitions) Hathaway is not on the 4th line
-Andersson/Kulak are not given a fair crack at the bottom pairing
This organization is very stubborn about filling peripheral positions with overpriced signings over players already within the system. Irks me a little bit every year.

The ice was horrendous.
Only watched OT, but Jankowski looked incredible. His poise in his own zone was very impressive and he had a powerful skating stride. He was head and shoulders the best player I saw on either team. I think he may surprise a lot of people at the NHL level.
