I've also never seen any of the McDonalds workers take the verbal abuse they do at the location in Calgary. It's pretty bad.

The Stephen ave. McD isn't far behind.

Most US McDonalds i've been too in sketchy locations had 24 hour security personal stationed there. That should be a requirement of the location on 8th and 7th.

My first apartment was in Garden Towers above crack macs. At that time there was no McDonald's....there was a Dairy Queen instead and a Denny's across the street. Fond memories but bah gawd it was sketchy

The Mrs used to work graveyard at that Denny's. So many stories.
All in all, since they moved the c-train station, things have improved I think.

Moving out of the City to Cochrane is the best decision I ever made. The city just wore out its welcome for me.

The McDonalds across from the entrance to Disneyland in Anaheim typically has people (not tourists) sleeping at the tables overnight. We went there a few times in February around 1am and it was interesting seeing the mix of homeless and late night families getting food on the way back to their hotel with kids.

A few years ago there was a video floating around YouTube of a guy going in and out of the Macs a bunch of times, trying to ask for money from people, and almost getting run over by a C-Train. The song "Because I got High" is dubbed over the video. Is this your video? I can't find the video anymore.
