The Caps' struggles against Pittsburgh eerily mirror the Flames' struggles with Anaheim. They just can't seem to get over that hump. It's their version of the Honda Centre curse. Curious, do Caps fans have a name for it? Is it the "Crosby Curse"?

Much like with the Ducks being in the heads of the Flames, the Penguins are in their heads. They outplay them but every little mistake ends up in the back of their net. As a Flames fan I sympathize with what Capitals fans are going through as it's kind of a hopeless feeling knowing that no matter how well they play the bounces are always going to go against them.

I think you keep going forward with your best players. You don't dismantle Presidents Trophy winning teams as the window will be open for a few more years now. You just have to continue tweaking and hope that next year you can avoid the Penguins.

Was just coming on to say how this mirrors Flames/Ducks. No matter what they do, or how much they carry the play, they just can't do it against that team.
