The Oilers dropped from 2 to 4 last year, which is why he had to be traded.

I'm glad Phoenix, Colorado, and Vancouver all dropped as far as possible. Tanking should never be rewarded. This is how the draft should be.

The difference being....
in the NBA: the chance for a team with the 13th pick to win the 2nd pick is 0.8%
in the NHL: it's 2.4% .....
this is just a really bad look for the NHL.
