You have to have something fortunate happen to go into that stadium against a team that good (and they are good despite the 2-6 record) and come out with a win...so I don't mind attributing some of it to luck.

I'm curious as a Broncos fan if you believe Plummer can win you guys a superbowl?

Lets just keep Peyton's stats sane tonight.
I have a 60 point lead in my fantasy game (not cp) with only Peyton to play for my opponent.

Yep.
He's perfectly capable of winning a Super Bowl. This isn't a team like Elway took in the '80's where the QB has to win the game for them.

Just seems as though he makes one or two brutal reads a game that costs your team, like the overturned interception throw in the first quarter. I'm just glad the Saints aren't in the AFC where the Colts/Pats/Ravens gauntlet will be brutal.

I truly believe that this is the Colts year....that offense is just so good, and it isnt just with the long bomb, though that weapon is still there too obviously.
Manning takes what the opposition gives him a LOT more than he used too...no where near as predictable as he once was either.
Fun to watch at any rate.

That, and it seems his timing routes with Wayne and Harrison have gotten alot sharper, I mean Manning eviscerated a great Broncos D last week just based on timing routes.

Yeah, that's a myth.
He had a brutal start to this season, I'll admit that. But watching him over the last 4 seasons I have come to the conclusion that he is one of those players that has gotten a bad reputation that has stuck and been propogated by the media.
He's tough and he's a winner.

It will be enjoyable to watch when Junior Seau is inducted into the HOF exactly 5 years from his retirement.
He's been a great addition for New England and embodies what a football player should be.
It's simply amazing the level at which he is still playing at almost 40 years old.

Strangest call ever maybe.
I mean honestly...he has now brought the spotlight on himself for discipline when it was completely unnecessary.

Well at this point in time I don't know how anyone could claim the Colts aren't the NFL's best team. They go into Denver and New England in back to back weeks and beat them both. Thats a very impressive feat.
Poor Larry Johnson has a good day running the ball, only to watch LT come out and blow him out of the water. That Charger offence is really good if Marty leaves them alone. I really hacked on the Chiefs early in the season, but they've impressed me lately. Damon Huard doesn't get the attention of a Tony Romo, but he's been Backup of the year as far as I'm concerned. Larry Johnson and Tony Gonzalez have both had three straight good games. A couple of winnable games here and a long December winning streak at Arrowhead and they could finish 10-6 or 11-5.

Wow two impressive victorys on the road. The defense for Indy stepped up huge tonight. I have yet to see the highlights, listned to it on the radio, but I heard Harrison's touchdown catch was just plain sick

What does it matter what I think? It's what the team thinks and I'm nowhere close to the team. That job is Herm Edwards not mine.
I don't think the Chiefs will be underestimating the Dolphins like the Bears did either. Miami was coming off their bye, and Dolphins teams have always had a knack for taking down undefeated teams since 1972. Miami shouldn't be as bad as their record is, but if the Chiefs are going to beat anyone, I'd think a 2-6 Miami team is a team they could take. If they can take Denver to overtime in Denver, and beat San Diego than I think the Chiefs are more than capable of beating Miami if they play well.

My hat goes off to the Dolphins. I think Chicago has been exposed for who they really are. I mean, who have they played? The weakest division in football by far this season. And it took a miracle to beat the lowly Cardinals. The Bears will get slaughtered in the playoffs.

My question is:
Were the Saints a good team last year, but just weighted down by a crappy QB, poor coach, no real home field?
I think the issue was Brooks. That may be the fault of Haslett (or the GM) for not sitting/replacing him, but it sure does look like Brees has made one heck of a difference. I'm sure having a true home field this year helps, but not for the turnaround that has happened so far thsi season.

When I say you I consider all fans a part of the team, I'm sure in some sort of financial way you support the cheifs, whether its NFL sunday ticket or buying jerseys or whatever you are supporting the players salary, hence I consider you a part of the team.
So when I say "you".
I'm saying we beat Chicago, don't take it out of context. I know I had no part in the win, but I still will always say we and you.
Miami is always for the taking, any team is for the taking. Miami does exactly what Chicago did this week-end. We even tried to give the game back to Chicago, we were up 14-3 and wethrow an INT in the redzone, we also missed a 38 yard FG. The game could have been alot worse, we gave the Bears ample chances of getting back in this game.
Miami still has lots of mistakes, but the one thing I noticed is Brown running for 157 yards on the Bears D in there house, that was crazy. We couldn't run on anyone other than the Jets this year, and everyone runs all over the Jets.

I think it was a bit of a combination of things. After about game 8 and having no home field I think it really took a toll on the Saints. I also think Haslett and Brooks also wore out a bit. They always had a reasonable defence, and a pretty decent running game with McCallister.
Unreal to think that every NFL team had 6 chances to draft Colston and passed him over because "he didn't have much speed." I don't know how the Saints would do if they were an AFC team, but I think they're as good as anyone else in the NFC.
