I don't think this means he'll sign with the B's. Lots of guys just pick a place to live regardless of where they're going to play.

I just hope Iggy doesn't walk around Boston telling everyone he's wearing a hat. Saying "I've got a hat on" in Boston gets you some really funny looks....

It's not. Some people will never achieve much success, nor realize their dreams or no matter how hard they work. Some people will become wildly successful and happy by doing virtually nothing at all. I don't deny that Iginla had to work his ass off to be successful, but this is also he is because he possesses immense skill and enjoyed a lot of good fortune along the way.

Lol totally disagree. In today's age it is not impossible to become a millionaire.

Hard work, focusing on multiple revenue streams, setting short term and long term goals, understanding compound interest and reinvesting dividends can definitely lead someone to be prosperous.

He was always here though. I remember him coaching at the flames alumni/police hockey camp I used to attend when I was a kid. We used to joke around and yell "COVER THE PUCK!" every time the puck got anywhere close to him.

I don't know if it was a reality TV thing, but I do recall Hrudey attending training camp in Calgary around that time frame.

The idea that buying a 4.5 million dollar home is a good investment is insanity. It is extremely high risk, and will most likely get less than what he paid for. The market for these homes is miniscule compared to a regular home, and are 99% of the time over priced by a long shot to begin with. Just my two cents.

There is a difference between being a millionaire and having Iginla money.

Most Canadians have the opportunity to become a millionaire through hard work and frugal money management.

Most people chasing the dream of having 10 million plus dollars will fail.

Rather like hockey teams. A persistent belief that others are just "luckier" than you will not generally result in success.
