Ugh. The oilers scored as many Even strength goals in Game 1 than the flames did in their entire series against the same team. More actually if you consider the Empty Netter.
Let that sink in for people who thought the flames were ever even 'In' the series.
Ducks better show the F up or at least get back to their Dirty selves, this could get painful for me to watch

I'm cheering for the Ducks, but it's like choking on puke.

This is why I don't understand how any Flames fan could cheer for the Oilers, even against the disgusting Ducks. Those that are must not have to deal with obnoxious Oiler fans regularly in your daily lives (aside from CP) like some of us do. It's no picnic!

This isn't ####ing funny anymore.
We need someone to step up and be to the oilers what the "LA Kings" or "Chicago Blackhawks" or "Boston Bruins" were to the canucks from 2011-2013.
I don't have any faith in the Ducks. Pieces of crap.
Nashville better beat the Blues, they at least beat the oilers all three times this season. the Blues lost all three times.

Clearly we've all done something to upset the hockey gods.
I think we need a poll on who we need to sacrifice by way of ripping out their heart and throwing their body into a pit of acid filled with alligators who are really upset because they're swimming in acid.
Because its my idea, I'm exempt.
But this whole season for the Oilers has been about everything going completely right from scheduling to injuries to Talbot and McDavid carrying the rest of the dead weight.
At some point Cinderella's slippers are going to turn back into crocs or whatever they're called, and she's going to crawl back into the cesspool where she belongs.

One of the Oilers fans actually asked me if I was cheering for them. I told him to give his head a shake and to get the hell out of my office.

I'd suggest Fleury or Tkachuk.

I think more CP members need to eat pubes. That seems to be a common theme on here.

I blame myself. I lived in the Edmonton area from 2007 until last fall, I was obviously the Oilers kryptonite.
Someone needs to "Dwayne Roloson" Talbot asap.

Just like 2006 all over again. Top seeds out early and a clear path to the finals. One bright side is that the Predators tend to give the Oilers fits but it's looking like we may have to accept that the Oilers are going to have a long post season. I'm more mad at the Flames for not getting the job done once again against the Ducks. This organization needs to hire a phycologist to figure out this Ducks thing as the team is never going to achieve anything in the playoffs as long as the Ducks are in the picture.

You should have fired him, lol. As far as that game goes though - how much ####tier do the Flames look now? We are now officially miles behind the coilers, it's not even close.

No "you can't win here" chants last night. It's just embarrassing. I can count the Flames games I've missed on one hand since the dark Young Guns days. Seriously questioning why I follow this stupid game.
If there's one reason I want the Flames to clean house in management it is that the organization has built a team of psychologically crippled wimps. They seem to have figured it out with the drafting of Tkachuk, only to squander his potential by putting him on a short leash. They sign Brouwer to add some edge and he doesn't even show up in the playoffs. Bouma of old has effectively disappeared. We send guys like Hathaway, who are actually crashing and banging, down to the minors. We keep pushover vets like Stajan around. I just don't like this group, I don't like how they play, and I blame the people who give and take the minutes.
Since the sweep I've expressed this view and the common response is the Flames need consistency above all else. I think that's hogwash. I really don't like the Flames identity and don't want more of the same haplessness.
