How I Met Your Mother is just a great show.
Barney is friggin hilarious.

There are only two reasons to date a girl you've already dated: breast implants.

I can not believe that in this society, people still talk this way and refer to others this way and treat others this way. Shame on you!!!!

Yeah...this world would be a much better place if we could just make fun of people for being different with impunity. I hear people with the word "of" in their screenname are more likely to have fewer social skills too. Boy it would be weird to meet a nice guy whose screenname had an "of" in it!

Who was making fun of anyone???

The guy simple said they and those....refering to gay people. Sounds really derogatory to me .

I have to agree with Jolinar here. The post in question used pronouns ;third person pronouns. He didn't use any derogitory terms; and I've heard a lot of them.

Great, now I've gone and used 3 pronouns in my post.

Yes that is one of the worlds problems.

Its people like you who think sterotyping people of different sexual orientations, races or religions is ok and needs to be "gotten over" that are the problem with the world today. Before you enter a post next time use your head bud because there is nothing I hate more then a biggot and you sound just like one.

Maybe you should go back and reread...naw...I'll just post the line of posts to make it simple...

Derogatory comment:

fleury: "some are obvious, others are not, but for some reason, this guy looked like he he was one of them since the time of Doogie Howser. He's one of those few that didn't have a lisp though. What's up with that?!"

Condemnation of derogatory comment:

kipperfan: " Kinda derogatory."

Condemnation of condemnation of derogatory comment:

jolinar of malkshor: "Get over it. Quit being so politically correct.

Geesh....one of the many problems with the world today. Don't be so sensitive."

Satirical condemnation of condemnation of condemnation of derogatory comment:

Superfraggle: "Yeah...this world would be a much better place if we could just make fun of people for being different with impunity. I hear people with the word "of" in their screenname are more likely to have fewer social skills too. Boy it would be weird to meet a nice guy whose screenname had an "of" in it!"

Response to above:

jolinar of malkshor: "Who was making fun of anyone???

Can you really not tell what was derogatory in fleury's statement? As an aside, someone once told me that, as soon as you start using words like "they" and "those", that's where the problems start. Throwing people into categories, and then mixing those categories, so that a person of type A must be like a person of type B, because there are people of type A who are also of type B is derogatory. You are dismissing the individuals on the basis of their "group"

Don't bother with that guy. Maybe one day he'll figure out how to make a point without getting angrier than The Hulk. That or he's gonna give himself an aneurysm one day.

Interesting that Doog's gay.. although I don't really care, so I guess not really.. Way to go man.. hehe

hmm.. went off on a bit of a tangent that didn't really make sense.. So I'll delete it, although it's quoted below anyway. Didn't really come out making as much sense as it did in my head..
