Ducks in 6. Blowout fashion in game 6. 5-1 with EN goal.

CP then gets on the Predators train where they take the ducks in 5.

I believe the "reigning in" was only in regard to talking to the media, and what he said about Doughty.

Agreef. As I understood it, they told him to shush in media and do his 'talking' on the ice.

Your support should really lay with whether you want a new arena or not.
If you want a new arena, cheer the Oilers on so you can use their new building as a reason for their success.
If you don't want a new building, cheer the Ducks on so when the Oilers lose you can say well hey, a new building doesn't change anything on the ice.

I want the oilers to win.

I want the flames to have a constant reminder we are better than the oilers and there is nothing better for bulletin board material than this.

Cheering for a team with Beiksa and Kesler riding on the coattails of Perry and Getzlaf. Nope. If those 2 pukes get near a silver trophy I'll puke.

Getz and Perry have all the trophy they'll need for a lifetime.

No, no, no, no, no.

You don't cheer for the Oilers. Ever.

You suck it up, hope the Ducks beat the Oilers, then cheer on the Ducks to get crushed in the next run. What has this world come to when Flames fans want the Oilers to win?

Season series (3-2) went the Oilers way including the last game 3-2 in overtime.

That being said, the Oilers do match up better than Calgary against Anaheim, however this is the playoffs.

I despise both teams and hope for a long, grueling series with lots of the hard hitting that a second round series should have.

I think the series outcome will come down to goaltending, but I also think puck luck will be the second most likely factor.

I hope it goes 7 games, hatred for both teams does not allow me to cheer or even lean for either, but if I am forced to select a team, I'll say Anaheim.

I need a shower....

I think this one goes in 7 in OT. They play for hours. After the 50th OT, due to exhaustion, both teams forfeit and do not advance to the next round giving Nashville/ST. Louis a bye for the 1st time in NHL history.....

One can only dream.... Both teams make me sick...

Cheering for the Oilers is like cheating on yourself.

Home ice advantage is going to be big for the Ducks in this one. They get the opportunity to match up Kesler against McDavid. If you thought Pavelski drove you nuts McDavid, wait until you see the Uber ###### that is Playoff Kesler.

Prepare for some epic Oiler whining

The Ducks were underwhelming and very beatable in round one, no question about it. And they couldn't handle the Flames' speed when the Flames were skating. Plain and simple, the FLames win the series with good goaltending.

That leads one to think that the Oilers, if they get good goaltending, should be in good shape.

However, I don't think it's that's simple.

For one, the Ducks will be better this round - they have their playoff confidence now. And two, they will have a plan for McDavid - Kesler is pretty good with him.

There is no 'Oilers depth', what we saw in round 1 was a crappy Sharks team. And when the Sharks played well, they absolutely owned the Oilers for stretches. The Ducks are much deeper than the Sharks. And much, much deeper than the Oilers.

And the Ducks overall team defense is vastly superior to what we saw in the first round from SJ.

I think we'll see a better Ducks team than we saw in round 1 and they win the series.

I hope both teams get disqualified from the playoffs due to blatant attempts to viciously hurt players.

I hope it's a brutally violent series where any survivor is served up on a tee for the next team to annihilate. But I doubt it. Their isn't much animosity between these two teams.

I hope a wormhole opens up and swallows the Honda Centre with both teams inside of it in game 1.

Failing that, I'll very clearly be cheering for the Ducks this round and then hoping they get trounced in round 3.

As soon as the Oilers are out of the playoffs I can ignore the rest of this awful NHL season.

I'm rooting for oilers in 7. Only because they're Canadian, and I like Cam Talbot, but hate everyone on the Ducks.
