Good season. Proper Goalie would have gotten us to the second round. I was kind of moving towards wanting to keep Gulutzan one more year, but if r was his call to start Elliott tonight, I think I would be happy for him to see the door this summer.

If the goalie situation is not addressed this summer, next year will be my last as a season ticket holder. This 1A/1B bull#### has to stop. Spend some money and address the problem. It's killing this franchise slowly.

The Flames have not won a playoff game since Rachel Notley was elected Premier. Just saying

I already felt the crushing disappointment after game 3, and I was assuming we would lose tonight, so it doesn't hurt as much.
Still though, a few bounces, and who knows? I thought we played well enough to win at least 2/4 games.

Gibson was much better than Elliott, and that was probably the biggest difference in the series.

Congrats to the Ducks, a team is measured by what they do in the playoffs. Flames will have to look at this series as a learning curve and get better. Looking forward to a new jersey, and good-bye Elliot.

Hard to get swept if you barely play in the playoffs to begin with.

That's gotta be one of the most misleading sweeps I've ever seen.

But you have to admire the Ducks in these post-game interviews when asked how they did it, none of them are saying 'because the Flames goaltending was a complete joke'. I respect that. Because we all know it.

Goaltending and a couple of garbage calls cost us a shot at winning this series, plain and simple.

Great heart in the last name. Love the performance by Monahan and Bennett (among others) and so glad to have Gulutzan as our coach, what an incredible improvement over Hartley.

Disappointed Elliott couldn't put it together in the playoffs, but this team has an incredibly bright future. Bring on 17/18!

Wouldn't go that far but he easily was the worst player on the ice after the goalie was pulled tonight.

I thought that we had some good performances from key players, but it wasn't enough. This team just sagged due to bad goaltending and until the last half of the third, I didn't sense desperation.

I was really disappointment in Elliot, and I think he's done here. I was really shocked at how timid Gaudreau was in the playoffs, he just looked like a guy that wasn't willing to take a hit to make a play.

I mean the next step in the rebuild is to dump the Bouma's and Brouwers and Engellands and inject more youth into the lineup.

Also this team needs to find a physical edge on the lower lines.

Has a team ever come out and said that though? Mostly cliche answers IMO.

Weak goals killed us. Bad calls stung. Highest paid players invisible. Growing pains I suppose.
