i think they've given up, no urgency in what could be their last period of the season.

You must have missed the beginning of the season. He could be better but he's been involved and seeing the ice relatively well.

Love Johnny but he really needs room to be effective (like the pp), big teams so good at shutting him down.

You know, I've complained and wanted Brouwer gone all season and he clearly isn't worth his price tag, but I think he has really stepped his game up this playoffs.

It's freaking crickets in the Gulutzan thread in case anyone wants to talk about ice time.
I'm looking at ice time right now and it is no where near four lines run. Looks like top two lines cycling and top four cycling with the bottom lines coming in here and there.

JG hasn't even shown up to play this series.

Monahan is not a physically aggressive player but he is one heckuva competitor.

He did look good in the first 2 games of the series, sadly he's the first to turn back into October mode when the going gets tough.

Hopefully we see game 2 Brouwer back

Although this series has sucked balls, it's nice to know the Flames finally have not just one, but two good young centers who can play well in the playoffs against a tough team.

To some extent yes. But the fact that Elliott had to be pulled after just one bad goal makes it clear why it was a bad idea to go with him in the first place. Clearly nobody had real faith in him to begin with.
