Moose seems like a really good guy, and I do feel for him. But man, you just can't let in softies like that in the playoffs, especially when your team's backs are against the wall. Really hope Treliving can land us a legit #1 netminder this summer, or next year will just be more of the same: decent regular season, probably make the playoffs, and then another 1st round exit.
And man, I can't wait to rid ourselves of guys like Brouwer, Bouma, and Wideman.

0% chance of that happening. Sigalet on the other hand. I don't normally like when teams bring back ex players for management roles. Conroy's been okay, but Vancouver, Edmonton and Colorado prove it's not normally a good decision but I'd be interested to see if Kipper is interested in a coaching gig.

There was a glaring mistake on the 2nd goal of the game, he can't decide what to do with loose puck in the neutral zone and lets the Ducks walk in on a 3 on 2.

Flames need the coach to coach. Shake up the lines(ALL of the lines. Even 3M). They're not scoring. Bench the third pair. Get one guy to stay in an extra half-shift on every dump-in. Can't just sit there preaching deficit defending process bull**** with your back on the ****ing wall.

I agree. His only flaw might be getting too much ice time some nights (although not tonight), but that's not on him. He's played just fine as a #6

Gio has to take considerable blame not being a leading Captain. Not to mention his decision making on the ice has been horrid.
Very little hitting by the team as a whole. Chemistry is way off, the key players are not wanting the puck they look a mess.
This team was not ready.

I think if the Flames had a competent goalie a lot of what you're saying would change.
Letting in softie after softie deflates the team. Changes the dynamic of the team.

wow in all fairness, I don't blame the teams response after the first goal and then they had one minute before the second. ANY team that has seen their post season slip away game after game because of bad goaltending will react like that

Kipper is pretty much the Finnish Howard Hughes. A reclusive guy, doubt he would be a coach in the NHL.

Since it's venting hours...
I hate how nonchalant Kris Versteeg plays. Looked like he was going for a Sunday afternoon stroll on that powerplay.

For everyone complaining about Bart take a look at DOUGIE he has been as bad or worse. The difference I'd Gio can cover for him and England can't for Bart..
Time for Hamilton to step up. If he had half the heart of his brother he would be 3xs the player he is.

So one bad play in an entire series?
How do you feel about Bennett after that bad back check on the 2nd goal tonight? Should he never see the ice again?
Whipping boys aren't a new thing in sports, but man, sometimes people are so irrational about them.

Love the Flames too much to turn it off. Lots of time left after the season to dissect the team.
Next goal wins. I say the Flames win this 5-2. Chad Johnson leads the Flames to the cup and gets a 6 year, 36 mil deal in the off-season.
Dare to dream.
