There's a reason why America's major sports provider, ESPN, prioritizes bass fishing, poker, & horse racing ahead of Nhl Hockey. I would venture to say that with as bush league as the NHL is with officiating and it's lockout happy owners/PA are the main reasons the NHL will never be a top tier sports league in the states.
Whole new game here.
Reset, and come out like you did in the 1st. Anyone in the stands, roar like you did in the first too.
I think this is what needs to be focused on. We have been the better team from the start. Officiating jobbed us in one way or another but instead of bitching about it lets get pissed and fight back. When teams (and their fan bases) come together special things can happen.
The HNIC panel is brutal. What are you idiots talking about? His stick is above his shoulder haha
Just because you're paid by them doesn't mean you can't have an opinion. How much of a mob is the NHL? These guys' families are being held at gunpoint or something?

Win or lose Johnson should get the next game. He's as big a reason as Eliot that we are here, and Elliot is clearly cold. Time for GG to make a big boy decision.
The third goal shouldn't have counted but the Flames need to be mentally tougher not to let the game slip out of control. A break went against you so double down your intensity. They didn't change anything, they just played the exact same way and allowed Anaheim to tie it up. They started playing again near the end of the period when the game was already tied up. Sitting back on the lead is a way to make that lead disappear like an illusion.
While there's some truth to this, normal NHL goaltending would have won us the game already.
More importantly, it's clear the team started to lose faith in Elliott, which causes panic in our own end.
Rickell with the OT winner 4mins in. What was the point of making the playoffs if we were going to get bent over by the refs, the league, the Ducks, Elliot, Bouma, Hamilton, and Gulutzen?
