if you are objective he is also the victim of bad bounces and deflections. He will continue to get better as this series progresses.

Because they had a younger option who was ready to take the reigns.

If I'm the flames coaching staff, I'm telling Johnny that on the next 5 opportunities below the hash marks just shoot the puck, don't look pass, just shoot the puck.
I mean cripes, you won't score a goal 100% of the time that you don't shoot.
I looked at that goal on elliot frame by frame and it really looks like it knuckleballs from the time that it passed Dougie's stick. I tend to think that was a wacky tip.
