Flames looked great. Ducks had to really work for their goal...got them off the ropes. We got away with a headshot (a bad non-call in our favour?! Wow) , they'll be calling those from here on out...stay disciplined boys.

Ferland missed the last few shifts, nobody is mentioning it. Frolik took a couple spins with the top line, then Brouwer took one too.

11-10 on the dot for the ducks. That's a big improvement so far.

I only noticed brouwer out there at the end, but I figured gg had him out there for a face-off.
Hope Ferly isn't hurt!

Yea, that has me a little worried. Hopefully he's back for the 2nd. Losing Ferly would suck.

Shows what happens when you shoot.... Ducks shoot a lot from the right or left side probably because the rebounds come out on the open side of the net. I recall them doing that a lot last time we had them in the playoffs.

Good period overall, but I felt they were playing pretty soft towards the end of the period, which isn't very impressive. Need to keep the pressure up to get those 5 on 5 goals, don't just wait for the powerplays.

See this is what pisses me off about the CBC panel. They all rave about a great hit when Kassian leaves his feet and targets the head of a Sharks player, but tonight talking about the Bennett hit it's all well the Flames got away with one there. WTF???
