Amen. Ducks haven't really done a thing to win, Flames have done a lot to lose, with a little help from our zebra striped frenemies.

Tough loss. Probably deserved to win. Hopefully home ice can give us an edge.

Still feel like the flames can win this series. They've shown they can outplay the ducks. They just need to win one in Anaheim.

Guys in the booth obviously didn't realize the feed was still going through the tubes of the ol internet.

Oh, I've heard those comments on satellite feeds as far back as the early 90s. But the audio was always broadcast quality. This one sounded like it was recorded on an iPhone.
Edited to add: Yeah, I'm probably wrong in this instance. As usual.

The best takeaway from this game is the tweet that Treliving was steamed.
Good.

I don't buy into the league wide conspiracy theory but holy smokes - have we come out on the right end of a single review this season? Offsides, goalie interference, high stick...
We never get a damn call. The most aggregious for me is still the whack on the glove from #87 right before the penguins scored. I am 100% sure that if the tables were turned and that was Johnny hockey making contact...no goal!

If I were him I'd Be steamed that I invested $18,000,000 in Troy Brouwer.
I wish there were a provision in the CBA that allowed for one compliance buyout every offseason. I wanna love this guy, but he's awful.

Like sufficiently steamed at one or more of our players to consider trading or otherwise ending their employment with the team next season?
Not sure as to your point.

Ummm....it wasnt a recording. It was a live feed from the press box and went out to anyone watching on game center.

I like the idea of the caller just now.
Stay in LA where you would for Kings games (and won your last game there) and are comfortable in playing. Anything to alter that mental wall.

I've been hard on Brouwer but I thought he did exactly what he was suppose to do in game 2. He was physical, he was a net front presence on the power play and also won some important draws. He had some big hits too. Overall he's been a massive disappointment but I thought that might have been his best game as a flame.
Actually I thought the flames really had their big boy pants on all night. Thought they were really taking it to the ducks and if it wasn't for two weak goals, questionable officiating, and a lucky bounce, should have easily won that game.
The goats were Hamilton and Brodie. Hamilton was better but still poor overall. All season long he's shown that he can get too caught up in the offensive end and forget about his defensive responsibilities and that's what caused the penalty, he got in too deep after joining the attack and did not get back to the defensive zone in time, this happens all the time with Hamilton.
As for Brodie, just don't know what the hell he was thinking there. Seriously can the flames just take a number and get their personal vendettas during the regular season? I mean cross check Kesler in the face and take a 20 game suspension but do it in the regular season. Don't do it during the playoffs. ####, can't believe how immature some of the players are.

Love the emotion coming out of our management. Glad that they're not just happy to be here. Treleving smashing a chair after the game, and Gully calling out the refs. This isn't reminiscent to 2015 where we were clearly outmatched night in and night out. We've dominated shot attempts between these two teams in both games. We can win in this building, #### this stupid curse. We'll get it right, game 5 back at the Pond after sweeping both home games.

Either way, still very unprofessional. This guy likely spends half the year traveling with Hamilton. Same flights, same hotels. If I'm Brian Burke and I know someone traveling with my team has essentially compared one of my top end players to Forrest Gump, I would definitely protect my player. That guy should and likely will be gone.

I have nothing much to add except that despite the crushing disappointment I can't help but feel that the Flames are on the brink of breaking through. It has been a long time since I have watched three straight games in this building and thought that they could have or should have won all of them.
Cheer up, everyone. This is a good team. They may not win this series, and they may not even win a game in Anaheim, but they are really close. With how young they are I look forward to the next decade in which the Flames utterly dominate the Ducks.

Flames will win both games in Calgary. Of that I have no doubt.

Super frustrating first couple of games, but big picture, this team is now able to hang in there with the heavy hitters.
They've played on even terms with one of the best and hottest teams in the league. Yes, they need to get over the hump and execute / believe they can win... but this is a lot different from running into the Ducks two seasons ago.
Hopefully we'll see them break through at home.
