What a shot. Ovechkin ties it at 1-1 in Washington.

He did it because he was fatigued and missed the glass. If clearing the puck out of the zone was as easy as people who love the rule say it is the penalty would never get called anymore. Especially late in a playoff game.

Leafs need to get their powerplay going again. For the last 10 games or so it has looked pretty bad.

Yes. Exactly. No one said that clearing the puck on the glass is easy, but it does happen often enough. It is a skill that players are required to develop, especially in order to avoid the effects of fatigue.

Ellis with the goal and could that be the only goal for this game?

What was with Kuznetzov grinning at Andersen instead of celebrating?

I've seen people on here who support it claim it's easy to clear the puck off the glass. It's about as easy as getting every single shot you take on net.

My point is he didn't do it deliberately. Especially late in a playoff game.

Basically the difference in this series so far is special teams.

Doesn't matter if he did it deliberately or not. Yes, it's annoying but it should be a penalty regardless.

Why? Because of the goofs who would do it on purpose back in the good old days.

Polak is done. That's just nasty. Took a hit, possibly knee contact, but then landed with it toe-picked awkwardly underneath him and his whole weight landing on the leg. Not good.

The wasted Leafs fan with the smoke in his mouth was the best part about this series so far.

Reminded me of Rosival's injury from a couple years ago.

OUCH!

Everyone hates (or should hate) the Leafs but damn that's just terrible.

I watch hockey all the time, but it's that kind of collision that reminds how fast these guys are going.

No, it should be the same as the icing rule.
