I just registered for Pinnacle Sports so that I could put $50 on a Ducks win, cause that would surely break the curse. They keep declining my transaction though... won't let me fund my account.
This curse goes deeper than I thought.
Edit: can someone else check out the site? Now when I go to cashier, it takes me to a '404 File Not Found' page

I dont think so really.
In the playoffs you are never in trouble until you lose at home. These are two games that the Flames are more or less expected to lose. The whole point is that you are expected to win at home, which is why theres a 'home-ice' advantage.
We lose at the 'Dome, then okay I agree with you, but until then you can reasonably anticipate this series being 2-2 after 4.

The Ducks are an extremely good hockey team, likley a Cup contender. On a more evenly matched series, I'd agree, but in this one I'd argue that a split at the Saddledome is much more "reasonably anticipated" than a Flames sweep, so therefore tonight is critical, imo.

I agree, but its kind of 6 of one and a half dozen of the other.
Most would reasonably expect a sweep in Anaheim and a split at home and then we're dead.
