This team is going to be 1 - 11 here real quick. Showing no signs that they can take a single game off the O's this weekend.

A run, and it was Martin that scored? That's weird.

Remember when the Jays used to win games? That was nice.

Wouldn't mind having Upton around right about now.

Why? Upton would be just as useless, if not worse. This team is too good on paper to be this bad. It's unfortunate this is happening this early in the season as it can carry on for awhile if their confidence is shot early on, but again, while this team may not be top tier overall, they're not this bad. It's just a matter of time before they do turn it around but it can't go too long before you call it a season, even this early, and you start to unload vets. In my mind, the only place I'd say management has messed up is 1st and OF. Depth on fielding is a luxury that really isn't needed, but Pierce and Smoak in the lineup just don't cut it. Generally a 1B has to be a legit slugging threat, and Smoak doesn't do much. Pierce is a role player. Pillar's offence isn't up to par when he's facing elite pitching. Simply put, a little too many holes for my liking. If the Jays are still going for it, I'd look to package Pillar and Goins, and go for a consistent bat. None of this mediocre nonsense.

Jays have a bunch of hitters in their lineup that just won't produce... When the big bats go quiet they are in a world of trouble,
Not a fan of the Jays management, still can't believe this is the lineup they went with (i.e Outfield is terrible)

Wow, tough season so far. People say it's only a matter of time until they turn it around, but I'm not seeing signs of a team turning it around.

So sitting Pearce, Martin, Travis and Barney.
Can't be any worse than whats happening now. I am positive it will result in a loss but hey Gibby is trying things.
