Nope. Kerry Fraser says only one of Ferland's hits should have been called charging and wasn't.

And Ferland's jump was way less significant than Kassian's so far tonight.

Seems to be playing his role quite well. Push the envelope and intimidate. As much as I despise the guy, he is taking advantage of the moment.
The results are certainly due to his charges, but also due to a lack of response from the Sharks, and/or refs. Both have the potential to get the guy under control.

McDavid held to only 1 point in 5 periods of hockey so far. Good job, Sharks!

I can't believe no one on this broadcast is talking about those dirty hits. How do you include that disgusting headshot in your highlight package? so effed up.

All that matters is San Jose won in deadmonton if oilers win it's a best of 5 series home ice to San Jose. Still looks good for the Sharks

Take out the attempted murders and this is the kind of game I'd like to see the Flames play against Anaheim

Sharks lucky to be only down by 1. One shot can tie it up. Gotta feel good about that going into the 3rd.

Sportsnet embarrassing themselves tonight drooling over the Oilers and illegal hits.

If he were playing, the score would probably be at least 2-1 for the Sharks, especially with all those Oiler penalties. Thornton usually quarterbacks their PP. Without him, it's looked pretty terrible.

Honestly, do the executive producers of Sportsnet not realize that the large majority of their broadcasts are absolutely awful, from play-by-play announcers to broadcast quality? All you have to do is watch one period of NBC's pcoverage, who don't even specialize in hockey, to see how superior their telecasts are.
