I got a notification from the Flames Fans in Van FB group of a meetup at http://www.redcardsportsbar.ca/ on Smithe St on Monday night.
I went to one of the meetups a few years ago and it was a blast.

Blondies in the Planet Hollywood mall was good with throwing hockey on at the bar for me. Good reubens there too.
Anyone know of a good place in Kelowna? Going to be there for game 1 it seems.

Since this is turning into a bit of an out-of-towners' info thread, if anyone is interested in joining a small but rowdy contingent of us in Dubai for Game 1, the beers will be on ice at 6:30 am!

Stats is pretty good but it can get very busy as it's next to the convention center so late afternoons when the games are on could become crazy, if you're closer to the airport there's a place called Underdogs, the bartender there is a huge hockey fan and Theo Fleury fan and wears his rangers jersey.

Any Winnipeg CPers want to find a place to get rowdy for the games? I know Boston Pizza would put games on but likely not put sound on for us. Or any other recommendations in general that might accommodate with sound?

I'd love to throw St. John's, NL into the mix, but I doubt I'll be able to find an establishment playing games beginning at midnight or 1230am.... Sometimes the Pacific start times are tough!
For the first two games, though, I'll be watching at work

Any Flames fans in Montreal know where they would show the Calgary game on Thursday and Saturday?

Anyone planning to go to the red mile? If so, what bars would you recommend?

Some friends and I are tentatively planning to hit up Schanks Crowfoot for the home games - send a PM if you're going to a NW pub. Would be nice to meet a CP member or two.

Ok, super random, but I'll be in Amsterdam for game 3 & 4. Even if there was a place I doubt it would be open.
However, does anyone know any Euro options to watch online?

Probably SOL unless you use r/NHLstreams
For all the hype, Amsterdam seemed extremely tame in terms of drinking hours.

Echoing what CofR said, the Maple Leaf pub in Houston.
My sister lives there, and it's where she goes to watch the Flames.

I'd recommend r/NHLstreams as well. I have never had trouble finding a good one

Good news: I have a business trip to Orange County (Newport Beach).
Bad news: I'll be there for game 3 and 4.
Ugh, terrible timing.
anyone know a good hockey bar in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, or Santa Ana?

Staying the night in Calgary tonight on my way to Lethbridge to take in the game and the atmosphere. Going to be getting there not too much before game time. Can anyone recommend a place we can either book a seat or may have a hope. We're staying on Mcleod in the South and will be cabbing.
I've also never been able to take in the Red Mile. If we win, where should we head?
