Icon48 April 12 - 5 series start tonight!

OTT/BOS and MTL/NYR just about to start.

CBJ/PIT at 5:30,
STL/MIN at 7:30,
SJ/EDM at 8.

Loved the intro video with interviews with Gelinas, Smyth, Alfredsson, and Desjardins.

Definitely makes sense to have daily OOT threads and keep the series threads for news.

Good opening sequence on HNIC - especially the part with Gelinas!

Man, it's pretty rare for me to watch a game if Calgary isn't involved in the regular season, but come playoff time, I sure am excited to watch any and all hockey!

No kidding. Loving to listen to Cole.

He has adjusted his style, less names being used, more announcing the atmosphere.

I am loving it.

Mods, merge these OOT threads please.

Agree with AC, gotta listen to Cole's call.

Cheering for Byron to have success with the Habs though.

Though NBC's broadcast for Montreal/NYR is Gord Miller. I'll switch the audio back and forth between that and the OTT/BOS game, but I can watch both at least.

Just a quick copy and paste from the other thread as an FYI.

13 hits in the first three minutes in Montreal. Some of the monster variety. Good stuff.

Crazy atmosphere in Montreal. Crowd is jacked. Drowning out Romanuk.

Am streaming both the Sens and the Habs game on my PC. The Sens on Sportsnet Now is a much clearer and louder audio than the Habs feed on CBC.

Byron is the Habs 2nd leading goal scorer...this true? I'm too lazy to look.

This game will be joined in progress as Sportsnet One is showing the Blue Jays and then Sportsnet Central. I have been told that SN1 may show the game as part of bonus coverage until the BJs-Penguins game is over.

Viewers in Canada who want to see the Blues-Wild game from the beginning may see it on TVA Sports2 in french.
