I didn't think that teams were allowed to wear third jersey's in the playoffs.
San Jose wore their blacks in the playoffs for a number of years. Last year, they didn't and went to the Finals. The Penguins wore their retros in the playoffs last season before going to them full time this year.

Yeah, you just can't switch it up during the playoffs like you can in the regular season. If you decide to wear a third jersey in the playoffs, that's all you can wear in the playoffs.

Oilers have announced that they will be wearing those Orange monstrosities for the duration of their playoffs.
Gross. Katz has no taste.
As much as I hate to say it, I actually liked some of the Oilers' older unis (it's more that I just like orange/blue combination than the Oilers specifically). When I heard they were bringing back a WHA version, I thought they meant the kinda baby blue ones, where the Oilers colours on the logo are reversed from their current logo. Those are actually kinda rad. But no, of course Katz wanted the orange eye sores, those unis are so tacky. No subtlety, like their owner or fanbase expectations

Holy crap, I can't believe how hard that vid hit me...
As a father to a son who's battling some health issues, you can never under estimate how big of an impact these types of experiences can have.
All the best to you and your son.
At the end of the day, the greatest thing about pro sports isn't the wins & losses, it's the effect it has on our kids, especially those who look up to the players as heroes & role models. Videos like the one we just saw really serve as a reminder of that.

A couple of car flags and that baby is good to go!
It was more my detailers and Vinyl guy. They did all the work, I just sketched it out with a sharpie, and asked them to make it happen. It's got a ways to go yet, but we'll have it street ready by Thursday.
What is plastidip, where can I get it, what can I put it on, and how do I put it on the things I can put it on?
It's basically the stuff they coat plier handles with, in aerosol form. You can strip it off when your done with it, or bored of the design. It's cool stuff. It took us 20 cans to do the Beetle. And we just laid Vinyl over it, as we have or own plotter here.

I think I'm onto my 5th car-dipping video now since I posted.
It just so happens I've got a car that turned 20 this year that could use some sprucing up. I might try to make it look like the skateboard I had when I was 10.
Is matte black with neon pink bumpers, rims, and wing mirrors too much? Not enough?
