Default Bets made for this Season. Won or Lost.

I'm sure we've all made bets with friends for the season, whether it's for a case if beer or more.

Post your wins, losses or any upcoming playoff bets.

Unfortunately I had a loss to my Oilers fan Brother in Law:

Vinny01 brought a good point, I needed a fresh start to grow an epic playoff beard.

I had 3 bets (1 was pretty silly) that I lost all 3:

1.) Gaudreau would have a higher points/game than McDavid, and both players need to be within 10 games played of each other. ($10)

2.) Bennett would have a higher points/game than Drasaitl, and both need to be 10 games played of each other ($10)

3.) Flames finish higher in standings than Oilers (I bet a signed Connor McDavid hat that I won at work that I was going to give away or sell anyways, and if I had won, coworker would have given me $40).

Only the 1st one was silly, but 2 and 3 seemed pretty reasonable at the start of the season.

$20 a game on each Flames/Oilers match. We all know how that turned out.

You look very handsome without the beard. I lost $20 to my friend who said the Oilers would finish higher than the Flames.

Exact bet I made.... fack. It's my fault. Every time I bet on the flames, they lose. I will now refuse to bet on my team, this one sealed it.

I seem to recall making a bet in the preseason. The terms of that bet will be fulfilled according to what we discussed.

I lost $20 per game (Calgary - Edmonton) to two different people, and I lost another $200 when the Oilers made the playoffs.

Lost 100 dollars to the most arrogant, delusional, scumbag oilers fan imaginable.

This is the type of clown who proclaimed every year for the last decade that "this is the year we make the playoffs and win the cup."

I bet the Flames would finish higher in the standings. I'm very bitter obviously because this is the only year I put money on the line and I should have been paying him with his own money if only I'd have started betting him sooner.

I lost $50 a game on an Oilers bet to 2 of my Oilers friends. Still doesn't even come close to what they have paid me for the past 10 years! Course it's not over yet. I don't owe them anything if the Flames sweep the Oilers in round 2.

I lost the worst bet I've ever made. I bet that Monahan would get 30+ goals or else I would have to get "frosted tips" for Stampede this year. For those of you who don't know what frosted tips are, it is essentially the most ######bag hairstyle of all time.

I made virtually the same first 2 bets

Gaudreau will out score McDavid -$20
Bennett will outscore Draisaitl (double or nothing as the same bet was made last year) -$40
Taylor Hall will out score Eberle +$20 (barely)

All in all I am out $40 my buddy asked if I want to let the Bennett bet go another year but I am taking my loss and cutting ties with that bet

14 year of same bet with Oilers fan buddy.
Started the bet after 03 season where the Oilers ended 17 points ahead of Flames.

$10 per point difference, final regular season standings.
This is the 2nd year in 14 I've had to pay. The other time was $30. He has had to pay over $300 twice. I'm up about $1500 I suppose, but he is quite pleased with himself this year.

Lost $50 to a Leafs fan, bet was who would finish higher in the standings. Lost by one measly point.

However, I did win my hockey pool and my masters pool, so I'm a net positive.

$20/game w/ the Oilers and $80 for standings. -$160

I'm being punished for all the success I had in the last 10 years...

Missed out on an annual dinner bet all of my buddies play. The guy whose team finishes last buys. It's turned into a lobster feast, because one guy decided to really cash in. Luckily, for the others his team (Jets) finished at the bottom this year (I hope he remembers all of his credit cards). Still luckier, not one Oilers fan, so no uber-gloating.

I'm diggin' the after look. Suits you better IMHO. But, the new playoff beard you start for this season will have all 16 of our post season wins baked into it then you can carry it with even more pride
