Leafs will likely have McBackup in net because I can't see Andersen being well enough to play.

Jackets have nothing to play for and have been really bad for a while. The Leafs should be feeling loose and relaxed.

I think the Leafs win this game or at least get a sweet, sweet loser point.

It'll be interesting to see who the Flames end up playing. Both the Ducks and Oilers present problems for the Flames in terms of matchups, but at least the Flames won't have a problem being motivated to beat either team.

I'll take either series, but I would really hate to lose to either team. Hopefully the Flames feel the same way.

I pulled out my THN Yearbook this morning to check their predictions again, just for fun.

They picked Tampa Bay to win the Stanley Cup over Dallas. Wow.

I expect Ducks to easily take out the Kings, Oilers have a circle jerk beating their chests with McJesus winning against the Nucks.

It's not their chests they'll be beating!

Canucks win tonight, Ducks win as well and Devils beat Detroit. Calgary plays Anaheim in the first round and Vancouver moves down from a second overall pick to a 6th.

I have never cheered for the Oilers before and I don't want to start now... but a battle of Alberta would be too good to pass up.

Last time this was possible was 2006, where the Flames just had to win Game 7 against Anaheim to set up a round 2 battle of Alberta.... Didn't happen.

Hope it happens now! Go Oilers (yuck)

Last time the Oilers played a playoff game, this was the top 10 on the Billboard charts:

1. Shakira - Hips Don't Lie
2. Chamillionaire - Ridin'
3. Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous
4. Yung Joc - It's Goin' Down
5. Daniel Powter - Bad Day
6. Fort Minor - Where'd You Go
7. Rihanna - SOS
8. Cassie - Me & U
9. Rihanna - Unfaithful
10. Sean Paul - Temperature

Last time the Oilers played a playoff game, these were the top movies at the box office:

1. Cars
2. Nacho Libre
3. Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
4. The Lake House
5. The Break-Up
6. X-Men: The Last Stand
7. Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties
8. The Omen
9. The DaVinci Code
10. Over the Hedge

The last time the Oilers played a playoff game, the iPhone didn't exist yet, and George W. Bush was still president.

*sigh* Jets season over and Bombers are 2 months away. I hate this time of year. The only good thing about is there's playoff hockey to watch and Canadian teams in it.

Great atmosphere in the Devils-Red Wings game. It is 2-0 Detroit and they are outshooting the Devils 19-6.

An Oil win combined with a Ducks loss today = Flames advance to 2nd round of playoffs
