Then he'll just hang out as the 3rd goalie and never play like he did for most of this year. They signed him for the expansion draft. They aren't going to play him unless something goes wrong.

Tom McCollum has played six games for the Flames organization this year, one in the AHL and five in the ECHL. I doubt they're too concerned about his playing time next season either. He's a non factor when talking about depth and where to put him.
