Tkachuk hurt there. Hopefully nothing serious.

They have some serious decisions to make with all these goalie prospects

On that kind of play, where Wideman was up ice a bit, the off side defenceman fcoverss net front, the goalie has the puck carrier, and the other defenceman moves that way. Plus Andersson didn't look like he was going to rpthat side, so Wideman figured he had to, that's what I think happened.

Flames organization is doing Rittich a solid. Gets to play a period in The Show. Maybe another organization takes a chance on him.

Four goalies in two games. Feels like a few years ago!

That sentence makes absolutely no sense.

A lack of space. Rittich himself might even look at the logjam and seek opportunity elsewhere.

There isn't that much of a log jam. And unless the Flames don't qualify Rittich we'll still own his NHL rights.

He's a RFA. Doesn't really have much of a choice if the Flames want him back.

And just like that Bouma makes a nice block in a meaningless game 82. Have to respect that at least.

If parsons goes pro then either Gillies or Rittich has to make the big club if they want to keep everyone.

If the Flames are going to pay Elliott or whoever at 5-6M, you take the training wheels off and go with Rittich/Gillies as the back-up. You don't want to spend for a back-up if you're paying a guy big bucks to start.

Best case scenario Schneider returns to the Tigers as an overager and they can loan McCollum out again. That'd make a bit of room. Especially if they promote from within for the NHL backup job
