These guys really don't have to face much adversity do they? Get served up man advantages on a platter at key times.

Oil were down 2-1 in the third, LA had a penalty shot, saved.
Not too much of a debate on the penalties, 2 of them by a lazy Marleau, one was too many men.

I wish the Oilers nothing but horrible luck in the playoffs. I swear if that team fell in a pool full of crap this season they'd come out smelling like roses. Hopefully that all changes when the puck drops in the playoffs. I frigging hate and truly despise everything about that team!!

Yeah I saw that bit, Talbot saved your bacon in a big way. Allowed the team to come back on the PP.
Elite goaltending does great things for merely decent teams.
Most other games you probably wouldn't see all those penalties called. This time a year the whistle goes away. A lot of game management in games not involving the Oilers, where they keep a level playing field in that regard.
eg. Calgary got the short end of the stick on a couple of instances in the 3rd period of the Ducks game in scrums where they maybe shouldn't have but then there were some even up calls the other way so that both teams got PP time. But nope, Oilers game, give em three straight, right? Sucks for the Sharks.

I really don't care to know. You probably couldn't offer a rundown without your copper and blue goggles on anyhow.
Thing is, most times you don't see consecutive calls one way late in an divisional game where teams are jostling for position - particularly to the team up on the scoreboard. That's really all I am saying and care to say on the matter.

I just read in the "red is a colour .." thread how Oilers fans were issued free orange t-shirts to create that colour effect for the playoffs. That's so freaking cheesy, especially considering they know that's been their arch rival's (organic) tradition for 30 years. And it goes without saying how much lamer free shirt giveaways are than bringing your own (and ours are mostly $200 jerseys..not that that's necessary, but it speaks to how our Sea of Red is infinitely cooler, and not artificial).
You guys gonna try to call your party street the Blue or Orange Mile again too for this run? Talk about having Calgary city envy..Edmonton isn't Calgary, just accept it and do your own playoffs traditions you copycats. Or has it been so long you forgot what they even were? This is why you're no good
