Grassi is the easy one. More ambitious can do Ha Ling, it should fit into 3 hours if you aren't dawdling too much. There are also lots of walks around the river that are very nice, so you could do Grassi, and follow up with some of those if you need more. Grassi gets very busy on weekends so expect to park on the road, and deal with a lot of trail traffic.

Grotto creek is a good one. Heart Mountain is decent as well although a bit more technical and not as cool as Grotto. Yamnuska is always a good choice as well.

I'm a big fan of West Wind Pass as well. Moderate to easy hike is probably pretty apt. Pretty short, but just keeps going up to the pass without much of a break.
Effort to reward is pretty high, nice views for just being a little drive out of town.
Yeah, on second thought depending on the group it's probably on the outside edge of 1-3 hrs, but if it's not windy, it's pretty neat to get views of the reservoir and over to dead man's flats at the pass for not a lot of effort. The big draw to me is that despite not being far, the crowds are about an order of magnitude smaller than all the hikes right on the edge of town.
If any of your group are into shamanic journeys culminating in human powered flight, try Wind Ridge...
You can see Wind Pass just after our protagonist takes off. Also making cameo appearances are Collembola Ridge, Centennial Ridge, Mount Allen and a peek at Canmore in the early eighties before IDIOTS messed it up.
To get the most out of your grassi lakes hike, start at the train bridge and hike up. It's a good long mild grind. I assume multiple cars are going so just Park one up top for the drive down if you're not keen on a return trip down.
I'll also recommend making a stop at the power station before your final leg to grass. It's essentially to the left of the grass lakes parking. But of you go behind the power station there is a killer waterfall to hike up. You can sit there for a snack and snap some fantastic photos too. It is a bit slippery though so have them waterproof hikers on your feet.

Lady McDonald. Depending on which way you go, multiple levels of fitness levels. I always hiked up to the "point" up there, in my teens. Would also hike up to where the tea house is now and then hang glide off that spot!
