honestly thought the "you cant win here" chants were hilarious. They're not wrong. This team has to get up for these games, the streak should light a fire in their bellies to be relentless but still it isn't enough

It's not being negative, it's being objective. The Flames don't have a snowball's chance in you know where of beating the Hawks or Ducks in a best of 7. The win streak was mostly against bad teams. The Flames aren't good enough a team to contend for a cup.

So much bull####. Where to even start. Play a perfect first period and then start the second period with Bartkowski-Engelland-Brouwer-Stajan-Bouma who proceed to get hemmed in and ice the puck ultimately resulting in a goal.

Bennett line has a strong shift at their end, puck comes the other way and our third pair fails to play a tight gap (even though, that's like, completely the philosophy of our system). Elliott lets in a soft goal that never should even have been a shot with how slow / bad Bieksa is.

Stajan line gets hemmed in, Stajan loses his man in front of the net.

Down 3-1, completely forget there's ten minutes game going on with the other team missing their two best defensemen and start being sore losers. Stop even trying to score a goal.

Get a 5-on-3 and Hamilton's head isn't in the game.

The Ducks are so, completely beatable. The Flames beat themselves.

Bennett was excellent though. Give him the C after Gio retires. Strip Brouwer's A and give it to him tommorow.

Honestly, more than anything I'm embarrassed with how the referees called that game.

Really pathetic officiating.

Despite the last two games I wouldn't mind the Flames meeting the Ducks in the first round. They can be beat with physicality. speed and goaltending. The Ducks will have an elevated sense of confidence going against the Flames in the first round, which the Flames could take advantage of.

Refs could give the Flames 20 PPs in a row we'd still lose.

Is the league going to look at the run that Holzer took across the width of the ice with what looked like intent to injure. Seriously that's ####ing garbage. I thought they were trying eliminate that?

I just want to also add that as much as I hate the Ducks and their fans I hate the officials even more. Those guys have zero integrity and are a total disgrace to the game, not getting calls right that a mentally impaired chimp could make. I don't mind losing to a team but when the officials are that inept every damn night and it determines wins and losses in the League it is a huge problem.

Gibson won this game with a huge performance in the first. Felt so much like the joke in Vancouver a few months back.

I'm looking forward to facing the Ducks in the conference finals. This team can definitely take Chicago.

And then you have Mr. 'Over-excited Lionel Hutz impression' announcing everything on the P.A. which just makes it a million times more infuriating

Kesler is honestly hilarious. Yapping at Ferland but when the puck drops goes after Monahan. He's so ready to fight until Ferland comes in and then, well not so much! But wait, wasn't he the guy you wanted in the first place?? Oh Ferland's been jumped, ok I'm a tough guy again let's go Monahan!

Lol like honestly bud.
