Basically about when to draft a goalie. Treliving didn't think they would take a goalie but when Parsons kept falling and Hart was the first goalie taken, they had to start thinking about it. Some scout based in Ontario (Sarnia) was very big on Parsons and said he was the guy.

It isn't really new information, they told the same story when Parsons was drafted. They didn't plan to take a goalie and did not expect Parsons to be there when they picked, but decided they couldn't pass up on him.

Silvertips and Royals tied 2-2 with 10 minutes left in the 1st OT. If Royals lose Phillips WHL season is over, otherwise they force game 7

Game looks like it's about to go into the 3rd OT, couldn't make the game but these teams are gonna be gassed if it goes to a game 7. Debating if I should buy the game for the 3rd OT...
Edit: knowing my luck if I buy the game it will probably be over in the first minute, but will keep track on Twitter lol.

Game is now officially the longest game in WHL playoff history.
2 minutes left in the 4th OT.

Everett wins it with 8:24 left in the 5th OT.
I would expect Phillips to join Stockton on an ATO.

 Phillips regular season:
 70gp 50g 40a 90pts +34 50pim

 Playoffs:
 6gp 1g 2a 3pts -1 2pim

Dube with 1g and 1a so far as the Rockets lead the Blazers 2-0 half way thru the 3rd.
If the score holds, the Rockets move on to round 2 with a 4-2 series win.

The Blazers have scored twice with less than 4 minutes left in the game! Looking like we may have another OT thriller
edit: lol nevermind the rockets scored again

Parsons had a shutout going into the 3rd in game 7; spitfires have made it 2-1 with 14 mins to go.
London is being outshot 25-15, all parsons for much of the game.

Wow, that was unexpected! Although with how much Parsons just wins I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
