I am starting to see a few more each day. I have noticed that the transit buses are also starting to scroll Go Flames Go.

Is it bad that in a season that saw a comeback from a 5-10 start to the playoffs, that had a 10 win streak, that had Moose get 11 in a row, that had the 3M line dominate.. in all that, the highlight of the season for me has been the #dougiebomb?

AC was just disproving the ignorant view of the Oiler fan which was that we had no ability to score past Monahan and Gaudreau.

Not even sure why I go to that place, and I've really slowed down lately. It really is the Kindergarten room of NHL fans. Hockey subreddits are much better

That poll page is what makes HF a cesspool of filth. Not only do you have Horvat over Monahan , but now that knob Gaudreauvertime/Whiskey is arguing Lindholm over Monahan. In fact, multiple people are. Apparently Monahan is no where close to top 4 in a redraft.
Literally the worst hockey site on the internet is HF. The only good part is the prospects and history section, as well as to watch meltdowns.

I got an infraction there for calling out a mod, who was a Canucks fan, for deleting anti Vancouver posts during the last Flames Canucks playoff series.
Like I said, not sure why I go there. At this point though it's almost like a car accident. You know it's bad but I just have to look

HF is the biggest snowflake board on the interwebs. They hand out infractions for laughable stuff.

Now in all fairness the guy that put Lindhom over Monahan was jumped on pretty hard and accused of eating radiation.
You can't take those polls too seriously, I mean there's not a lot of Flames representation on that board, and its pretty much home to fans of other franchises that try to make themselves feel better through stupid arguments like OMG Horvat is like the best young center in the league represent. Or Larrson is da man, or even better the whole thing sounds like those old record ads that came on late night TV, with the two hosts talking about how awesome their collection is
That's right Sandy and just listen to this awesome concept tune "did Sid hand the torch to Connor last night?"
I love that tune bob, but on those late nights when I'm at home alone in my Kevin Lowe lingerie I just have to turn on "Larrson is better then hamilton."
And that's not all, Sandy though I'm resentful that you don't invite my over to your house more often, but we're a fake couple hahaha, but when I'm feeling blue about my team, I just have to put on that high energy tune "Oilers its not if, its how many."
That's an amazing tune Bob, and if the people watching order the delusional fan set of albums now, we'll throw in this free T-Shirt labeled "Backlund is an overrated suck hole."

Every time I see Joe Colborne, Rene Bourque and Blake Comeau play hockey, I love my hockey team even more.

I just wanted to comment on Ferland's goal last night. He has been a meaningful contributor since joining the top line, but what is really adding to his goal production is his release and the ability to get the puck up in the net. With goalies being so responsive and quick in their butterfly style it becomes tougher to sneak a puck by on the ice. Ferland is a master at shooting into the upper half of the net...haven't looked at the actual goals but it seems to me that 90% of his goals are scored this way.

Last night in his locker room interview he specifically states that he "takes pride in being an impact player this time of year". So I think that's a sign he's gonna bring it in this final stretch and going into the playoffs.

Brouwer can really play that heavy game and in the last few games you can really see it start paying dividends.

Yeah it seems every one of Ferland's goals are lazers to the top corners. I really liked his goal last night, not because it was some highlight reel rocket, but because he scored it in front of the net, picking up garbage.
He could be a 30 to 40 goal guy if he adds some Ryan Smyth to his game; that is to score more garbage goals in front of the net. He has the frame to do it, and I doubt he'd take as much punishment as Smyth did because I doubt there are many defencemen in the league who will want to tangle with him.

I wonder if Colorado would trade him straight up for Mackinnon?
