Safeway one is still around 12% last I used it (a few months ago).
I do the same. Loonies/twonies come out and rolled. Everything else goes in.

If you're a TD customer the Aspen Landing location has a change machine. Super fast.

I just dumped $300 in change at a CIBC. If you are a customer it is free. Took a few minutes and just took the slip to the counter to deposit into my account after. Easy peasy.

I usually just push mine into the card slot of the ATM. Not sure if it causes problems but I'm never the next person to use the machine.

No.
Do whatever you can to keep that line moving as fast as possible. That's my motto at least.
I hate lines.

Then have your groceries delivered. Else, the guy paying with change is trying to save a few $$$ just like you are. So lets not deride the extra minute it takes for them to spend 100% legal tender.

Really? I thought I asked a pretty boring, pedestrian question - but I really appreciate your enthusiasm for my query on which CIBC's have these change sorting machines!

I'd also like to know which CIBCs have change machines.

Are there still change machines in some of the BMOs? I think across from Chinook used to have one, not sure if its still there and still free for under 250. Looked online but doesnt seem to say.

I think Safeways have them after the tills.

Don't they charge something like a 12% fee? Some TD locations have coin machines. They are only free if you have an account with them.

I don't think TD has them anymore. Well at least the few I went to that used to have them have got rid of them.

Really? Thats insane! I honestly dont know I've never used one but I pass them when my wife and I go grocery shopping.
Personally I store all of my change so I can throw it at unsuspecting Hobos.
I get pleasure from their pain and bewilderment and they get money. It seems like a fair transaction.
