So many important games..it's that time of the year!

One of the big games is Washington vs Columbus. The BJs are trying to catch the Caps in the Presidents Trophy race. And it's Russian Heritage Night in Washington. Ovie will be wearing these beautiful skates!

My body is ready for a Leafs loss. As a Leafs fan I always expect the worst. Things have been going a little too well lately, so I am prepared for a 5-0 loss.

^^Love those skates!

Hoping that the aves are able to win of their next two games against the Oilers.

Also want a Kings win. Would love to see the Kings finding a way to sneak in, in place of the Predators/Blues or Oilers, for Iggy to get a chance.

As much as I love Iggy, I hope LA keeps losing. I don't want any teams catching up to the Flames.

Yeah it's time for the fans to show even a 1/10th of the confidence of the Flames and stop worrying about LA. They're 11 points back with 10 games to go. They've played .500 hockey over their last 10 and have shown nothing close to resembling a pulse. The Kings are done.

Hell, I'd be more worried about the Jets after they win tonight. At least they're on a bit of a roll.

Anytime your point deficient is greater than the games you have remaining, it doesn't bode well. The way they have been playing shows that they know that.

Just want to point out to whoever was writing off the Hurricanes when we played them a month ago that they were done cause they were last in the east with 5 games in hand on everyone that if they win there 2 games in hand they will be 3 points out of a playoff spot....

Go Hurricanes!

People here discount games in hand way too much.

The Oilers have to play back to back. Someone call Bettman
That can't be right.

You mean the ONE game in hand the Kings have!?!? You're right, after they win tonight they're 9 back with 9 games left. Better watch out!

What? I wasn't talking about the Kings? I think the Flames are quite safe?

Such a crazy race the Metropolitan. If you don't get first, you're first round match up will be another 100+ point team....Ugh. Rangers are probably very content in 4th.

Great skates and likely some kind of Trump joke to go with them.

I hope the kings lose every game but that Iggy scores every one of their goals. As much as I hate the leafs, I enjoy watching their team (sans the dirty hits) and I'd like to see what they do in the playoffs.

I'm getting my threads mixed up but you were complaining about Johnson getting the start because the Flames aren't in the playoffs yet.

That and in a thread where everyone was discussing LA being done your post made it seem like since Carolina could do it (come back with games in hand) that LA could to.

Glad to hear you think the Kings can't get the job done! That means there's not many doubters left on the board that the Flames are in fact in the playoffs this year!

After twenty minutes
The stinkin' Leafs lead 2-1 over the Devils
The Habs and Hurricanes are tied 1-1
Scoreless in the Penguins-Senators game
Coyotes are up 1-0 over the Panthers

In the second period it is 0-0 in the BJs-Capitals game and after a scoreless first period it is now 2-2 in the Lightning-Bruins game.

Sedin scores, 1-0 Canucks!

Parise scores early, 1-0 Wild. Dubnyk is in net again, there is another goalie playing a lot down the stretch.
