Polak gets a boarding major and thrown out of the game.
Don't understand Torterella going after Tim Peel and calling him a piece of ####.

Agreed, my 11 yr son was "what the heck is wrong with Torterella, he got 5 mins and a game".
Will there be further discipline?

Bizarre reaction by Torts. The only thing I can think of is he felt the refs were responsible for letting the game get out of hand, leading to the injury.

What a season for Kadri. 30 goals while taking on the toughest assignments and starting over 60% in his own zone.

Now that's a nice win, notwithstanding the stupid Polak cheap shot on Bjorkstrand and the 2 hits from behind dished out by Fehr.

The Ducks schedule is much more difficult than the Oilers cake walk, take a look. As such, we have a much lower chance of finishing ahead of the Oilers than the Ducks. Factoring in that we play the Ducks twice and the Oilers not at all, as counterintuitive as it sounds, I think we should hope the Oilers beat the Ducks. If the Oilers win both times they play we, it would dramatically increase our odds of leap frogging the Ducks. That way we can exact our pound of flesh in a civil war inducing renewal of the battle of Alberta. Nothing would be better than the insanity that would ensue from a Calgary vs Edmonton opening round. Crushing the hopes and dreams of every Oil supporter ourselves? The big picture is what I am cheering for tonight.

Ok, listen up Ducks and Oilers...no 3 point games.
I know, I know...I've just jinxed it.

Good god, my broadcast choices are between the two most biased teams in the entire NHL: Ducks and Oilers. Hayward or Remenda? Ugh...these guys are just offensive to any knowledgable hockey fan.
Do I go with the devil I know?

Try watching it on mute and making up your own PBP.
"Here's stupid McDavid with the stupid puck! Dumb Lucic skates around like a doofus and falls over the boards!"
(Stuff like that.)
