Worst period by the Flames in a long time. Caps completely took over the game around the half way point and didn't look back. They definitely brought their A game tonight, and the Flames are getting caught flat footed.
It's games like this that remind me that this team still has a ways to go before they're considered a legit contender. The last half of that period was painful to watch, and they were totally outclassed.
Whether the Flames can come back or not, I just want to see a solid effort for the rest of this game. Move your feet for f--- sakes, and be smarter with the puck. Get back to the system that's made them successful over the past month, throw some hits, and please try and stay out of the box, because that Caps PP is scary good.
