The majority of the electorate voted for Clinton. And Trump's approval rating is at a record low point for a new POTUS.

I could see someone buying his schtick in the campaign ... I mean I wouldn't have, but I can see why people would. At this point now, how can you not realize you were conned by a charlatan?

While this thread is majority liberal, there are conservatives and libertarian leaning people posting as well. Don't expect unsubstantiated claims to be accepted as truths and you may feel free to challenge others' claims.

Sort of how even when people are told repeatedly they're being scammed they still keep sending money to the con artist. Denial is a hard drug to quit.

So question is Chaffetz; why the heck did he not mention this prior to the elections?

If I understand how this works, the FBI has to legally notify the House Oversight Committee to any ongoing investigations such as these. If the FBI has been investigating this since July, Chaffetz would have had to known about both of these.

Chaffetz did not need to disclose anything about the ongoing investigations, but did so with the Clinton one across every new network, not once but twice. Oversight should always be non-partisan independent.

Hes a true outsider to a system that has been completely taken over by corruption. I believe the USA has not had a president like this since Kennedy and I for one am excited to see what an outsider in Washington can do. So far he has carried out his campaign promises which I fully support. A politician that actually does what he promised in his campaigns...exciting!

Trump is exceptionally corrupt. In fact he's already violated the emoluments clause (better know as the pay to play clause). But hey you bought it hook, line and sinker. He's also a world class con man.
