Really? I hate everything the Leafs do generally, but I really like those. They look like they stick to the original design quite faithfully, which is cool. Of course, the originals were in black and white, so this green isn't quite authentic, but still, pretty sharp.

The numbers on the back of the jerseys look like they're stuck on. And between the two numbers, a little vertical strip of green is shown, looking like a "1", so a player like "22" looks like "212" at a glance.

Ugh.

Ottawa with two goals in a minute and a half now lead Habs 2-1.

That would only improve the Sportsnet broadcasts I'm used to.

Wild are picking a great time to go slumping.

Barring a 3rd period come back they'll lose their 4th in a row. Hawks will easily pull away from them at this rate.

Also, the Islanders are just pathetic as usual.

Chicago is tied 1-1 with the stinkin' Leafs after forty minutes. I agree that the Blackhawks should distance themselves from the Wild. The Predators could still catch the Wild but they are losing 3-1 to the Hurricanes.

The Capitals are slumping and could easily fall into the wildcard spot. It is tied 2-2 with the Lightning late in the second period.

a little far fetched. They are 7 points up on the Rangers; in fact with a win tonight, the Caps will be the first team to clinch a playoff spot

Paul-Star Byron scores as well as Radulov to give the Canadiens a shootout victory over the Sens.

Senators power play might be the worst in the league, stats aside. They haven't really gotten any better after getting rid of Cameron last year. If they make the playoffs it could kill them early.

Needing a bag due to hyperventilation...the OT at the AC Centre was odd man break after odd man break...

Hartman from Panarin very late in the OT. Matthews scored the first goal of the game on a very good give and go with Nylander.

Seabrook sent a sweet stretch pass to Toews who dropped the puck to the wide open cutter, Hayden, who scores his 1st NHL goal in only his 2nd game.

Andersen was stellar, keeping the St. Pats, I mean, Leafs, in the game until the wild finish.

Thanks to the Rags for putting down the slumping Wild.

Since when has Byron been good enough at breakaways to be in the shootout?! I understand breakaways are a different speed, but still

Panarin had dragged the puck onto the Blue line in complete control, even though his skates preceded the puck...as I understand the rule, as long as Panarin was in control of the puck, He can precede the puck...once the puck was completely on the Blue, the zone had been entered.

I know it's fashionable to rip on the Edmonton Oilers franchise for being no good, but this special ceremony for new immigrants before the game is definitely good. I'm getting some warm fuzzies inside, and it's not just due to the scotch.

I'm proud to be Canadian when I see things like this.

Why would the Oilers not look at this game and think to give Talbot a night off. Just gonna ride him the whole way
