That Belesky head shot was terrifying. I hope he's okay.

That was the beauty part of the win streak. Didn't matter if other teams won, we would just win more.

If we get a healthy lineup again starting tomorrow I'm sure they can get on another good sprint. I really like this team a lot with playoff-mode Elliott and Stone - whom we are unbeaten with in the lineup.

I know you're a troll but if the Flames play the way they can and have shown over the past 15 games overall, they are capable of beating Anaheim or Edmonton on any given night. "Automatic losses", good one. *clap* *clap* *clap*

Not only that but the Oilers are an automatic loss for no one. That attempted troll job was as bad as Rask's performance tonight.

got outscored 29-11 and swept by the oilers and haven't won in anaheim in 13 years.. seems automatic to me..

would much rather play the sharks

Again, I like this team a LOT with Stone in and Elliott on his game. I think they could give anyone in the west a run for their money. And I'm normally an extremely cautious optimist at best, but they impressed me that much with a proper top 4 in front of Moose.

Thing is injuries and banged up players happen, so that's not a guarantee. Always seems to be something going into playoffs.

Also I do believe the Honda Centre curse is a real thing, and have seen the witchcraft with my own eyes, so that said, I won't be upset if we land the sharks. Flames have played them well the past couple seasons. Oilers can have fun with the big bad d-ba...I mean Ducks.

This team has overhauled its defense since playing the Oilers, is playing at a much higher level, and has much stronger goaltending.

Also, the Anaheim thing is just one of those weird sports stats. Its bound to end eventually. This group of players has barely been a part of that streak. Can we lose those series? Very much so. But we will have as good a chance as they do

Swept the Wild and Pens

Those teams are an automatic loss to the Flames I guess

nice logic...

Give me a break, the Flames team that lost to the Oilers is a different Flames team then the one that has been one of the hotter teams over the last half of the season.

Both in terms of depth and in terms of systems.

Nothing is easier, but I'd much rather face the Oilers and their lineup then the other available teams thanks.

Considering that we just matched a record never before reached in Calgary, and for the second time in franchise history, I don't think anything can be considered automatic.

Everyone counted the Flames out in November. And now that we have an excellent chance of getting in, these people need to find something new to complain about.

Let's enjoy this - it's much better hockey than we expected.

Oh good, it's that OOT where everything possible goes the wrong way.

Hello again, old friend.
