Rick Ball's stat in the game suggests no correlation with face-off percentage and winning percentage. The face-offs didn't have much to do with the end result tonight, but the goaltending performances did.

It's too bad horrible goaltending had to kill the streak. No, the team wasn't great but goaltending like that would deflate any team. That should have atleast went into OT where anything happens.

What a difference goaltending makes. We started poor against the Jets, Elliott kept us in long enough to find our legs. We needed that today and didn't get it.

Great streak though. Now it's all about how we bounce back. We are still in a dogfight to make playoffs, and we need to be at our best against Dallas.

Proud of our boys the last few weeks, and full marks to the B's for playing a real solid road game.

New streak starts Friday against Dallas.

Elliott needs to be quarantined until we clinch a playoff spot. No more getting sick.

It had to end sometime, too bad it was a bit of a stinker. That's ok, now it's time to see how they respond. Great run, and really they have been great for quite some time. I have no doubt they will rebound strong. I do feel for Chad though, but hopefully he, and the team have a stronger showing for his next game. GFG!! Let's see the start of another win streak!!

Which is uglier; the face offs or the goals Johnson let in?

Not about to sell him down the river but Johnson was terrible tonight...

I really don't care what you think, and the "that kind of fan" comment is beyond weak.

To me he looked like he was done for the season and then was back like it didn't happen.

I definitely think there was some embellishment going on.

You won't have a chance at winning when your tender lets in a couple of softies.

I ain't even mad. It's a hell of a thing to win 10 games in a row, and we knew the streak was going to end sometime. At least it happened against a very good team who pretty much played a perfect road game. Full marks to the Bruins for a well deserved win.

That being said, not many positives tonight. Chad was very rusty and I'm sure he'd like to have those goals back.

Can't put all the blame on goaltending though, as the Flames were destroyed in the faceoff dot and just seemed kinda listless after the Bruins' 3rd goal. We also had no answer for the Bruins PK. It just wasn't in the cards tonight.

Just gotta forget about this one and beat Dallas on Friday to start a new streak.

To be honest they haven't really looked great since the Jets. Was out a matter of time

Also I know they won that game 3-0 but they sure haven't been the team that played the Islanders

Well, it had to end sometime. Kudos to the Flames for the 10 game streak and taking us all on a great ride. The Bruins played a great road game and the Flames didn't have enough jump today.

Almost feel bad for Johnson, but those first two goals really deflated the team and those saves should have been made. Shake it off, regroup for Dallas and start another win streak. Also, get well SOON Elliott and Stone!

Most of the blame will be on Johnson and Brodie but that 3rd line was non existent. Constantly hemmed in the whole night.

Sure Johnson looked horrible but Khudobin was shaky too. The Flames getting badly out shot was the reason for the loss.
Yeah, both goalies looked pretty bad, but the bruins took advantage and the flames didn't.

Rusty goalie was rusty. Let's hope Elliott is ready for Friday, or else Johnson has a good bounceback game.

If you honestly think Khudobin out duelled Johnson, I don't know what to tell you. They both played bad, just Boston put more pucks on net and had the puck more often. 0 powerplay goals don't help either. Flames just didn't have it tonight, nobody did. Not just Johnson is all I'm saying.
