I don't think wideman should be barreling into the zone like that. Get to the open ice and shoot but keep your defensive position. Boston is playing well and there's no need for the heroic fly by.

well lots of time, but Johnson needs to get his head out of his ass. I'm not gonna blame him for the 3rd one, but he's been awful tonight. This kind of sucks considering his role is gonna be to come in after a long lay off. Can't look this nervous

The one caveat that Flames have yet to run into during this streak is shaky goaltending. We're only a goal down, so will be interesting to see the response.

No, sorry. That's ridiculous. Turn overs in the offensive zone happen. Johnny was back in position covering for Wideman who blew his position pinching on the rush.
That shot has to be stopped by Johnson, it's not on Johnny.

no team can go on a long winning streak with bad goaltending
flames also haven't been playing that well overall this period

Yeah, I've definitely noticed it bouncing around way more than usual, which is saying something, because our ice is usually pretty poor.
