Puck just needs to settle down for the Flames - you can really tell Boston wants this one though.

This is fine, they'll regroup and come out strong, you could tell they were getting back to their usual play at the end of the period.

Good period of hockey from both teams. Really well coached period.

Ice is tilting back to level.

Johnson actually looks pretty good. Good positioning and pretty good reads too. Im going to chalk that up to a "haven't played in awhile" stinker.

Totally different feel from the other night. Of course they can't all be classics - Boston is playing a good/safe road game. Hoping we can open it up in the 2nd.

Those powerplays looked like it was October all over again. Hopefully they can figure that out for the rest of the game

Pretty even period for the most part. The Bruins' PK is insanely good. Our PP is gonna have to find a way to adjust, as the Flames couldn't even gain the zone.

Chad seemed to settle down after letting in that softie. I think he'll be fine from here on out.

This is gonna be another good test for the Flames tonight. Bruins are forechecking well, and I think we'll see the Flames pick up the pace and push back harder in the 2nd.

My wife is away this evening and I ate three slices of a large pizza and about 5 pieces of cheesey sticks. Now I hate myself.

Needed to share.

In order to score vs the Bruins PK they are gonna need to win faceoffs. Bergeron was taking our lunch money on both PK's. Very impressive

First PP unit still insists on doing the drop pass to Gaudreau. Every. Single. Entry.

Bergeron took the second penalty. But I agree. Gotta win a draw

The pre conceived notions of Johnson are difficult to remove tonight..when you have a pre conceived notion that is set in stone.
Good goalie.
