Remember Johnny Football? Neither does anyone else. Only Johnny Hockey is relevant!

It's funny how music makes a moment. TSN's #1 is definitely more emotional with Turn Down For What

needs more:

-Entire 6-on-5 shift to set up Backlund for the gwg against anaheim
-Playoffs clinching goal from the slot on Jonathan Quick
-Entire 3v3 OT shift in his final Team North America game to set up MacKinnon for the win.

Wow, Flames coverage from a national broadcaster when they aren't forced to because the Flames happen to be playing.

Is this real life?

This should be top of the list IMO.

Its the goal that truly elevated him to top tier prospect status.

Even TSN's front page is about the Flames right now. Boudreau talking about struggles after winning streaks.

Meanwhile, Sportsnet. Principe: Boudreau what do you feel would happen to Calgary's streak if they met up with the Connor McDavids I mean the Oilers and Connor McDavid?

#1 was the only Flames playoff game I've attended since 1996 (partly due to moving away from 2004-2013), thank Jebus I was there. What a game that was, still can't bring myself to delete it off the PVR either!

Does HFboards Oilers have a thread about how wrong it is to have a Gaudreau top 10 video and how the media just focuses on Calgary all the time?

"Top 13" just isn't as catchy.

Agreed with Textcritic on that shootout goal vs the Sens. Love the move at the end to put the puck through the five hole instead of just shooting it, it's just an odd move, like his stick was a sword. It's neat to see.

ok, anyone remeber "that" goal he scored for North America maybe just before his rookie season started? Best goal I remember from the whole series!! I think he was on that line with Justin Abdelkater. He was electric during that whole series.

I was just thinking that he has enough highlight reel goals to easily do a top-15, and then I started thinking about a top-10 assists list... and then I reminded myself that he's only in his 3rd year in the NHL, and then my head exploded.

Only problem is that somebody's going to Oiler that, and give us the Top 97 by #97. The video will be 54 hours long and contain every second of every shift he's ever played in the NHL.

We should make sure he is the 1V1 champ for a while...deserves it

can't let gelly fans of other teams (Oilers) knock him off

Yes. And he successfully defended his win against Mike Condon's stellar three-save sequence from last night.
