You know when you're watching hockey and you yell at a player to do something better like it's that simple for you to say from your couch?
Well Tkachuk does all those things to perfection. He seriously has the highest IQ on this team. Everything he does, even his dump ins have a purpose and he thinks ahead of everything he does.
Thanks Dim Benning.

Wow what a momentum shift. Jets have barely touched the puck since the goal.

I see it is ride along on Johnny's back again tonight. At least four times so far the Jets have velcro attached to his back so they can hold on.

Stupid play by Wideman going behind the net instead of off the boards and out.

"The thing with Matt is that many people don't realize how smart he is, he's got elite hockey sense". Treliving in the interview right after making the pick.

A lot has been made of Hamilton's offensive prowess.
I believe he has shown significant defensive improvement.
Terrific player and great trade.

Hard not to be happy coming out of that period with a lead. They were badly outplayed in the first half of the period but started getting more chances in the 2nd half. Is it me or has the team really lobbed some softies on what were pretty good scoring chances. Feels like they could be up by three goals.

For the longest time I was just hoping to get out of that period level.

Less than expected unnecessary shots at Wideman this period in the GT. A few... but hey.. can't have it all.

He is playing with Wideman. The fact they haven't given up a goal, I'm not sure he isn't a Norris candidate
