If any D call ups are made my guess is they happen in the following order:Kulak
 Kostka
 Wotherspoon
 Andersson
 Kylington

as much as I'd loved to see the Swedish wonder twins out there, I don't think it is very likely.
Kostka has the most NHL experience.

Another important factor to note, Kostka's first name is Michael.

For at least one game we're probably looking at
 Giordano-Brodie
 Bartkowski-Engelland
 Kulak-Wideman

 Hold on to your butts.

Teams don't generally disclose severity of injuries at all any more, and it gets even worse in the playoffs. One of the reasons is that they don't want to give other teams an idea of where to be slashing and targeting if the injury isn't obvious.

As far as the Stone hit goes, looks pretty clear (from the one replay I saw before Sportsnet's garbage video player crapped out) that it was his shoulder.

They would need to sign Aulie to a NHL deal first. He is currently only on an AHL deal and would not be eligible for the playoffs.

OK it's the morning...Wake up Hamilton, Stone, and the doctors. It's time to get re-evaluated, inquiring minds want to know!

A cut is actually relatively good news, assuming that it has not severed anything. Considering the stance they're taking already, i'd doubt he misses more than a game or two.
Stone however, could be problematic with a shoulder injury. If the Wide dog has to come in for any length of time I fear there could be an epic drop in the teams play once again. I would almost argue that a call-up should be made.

The epic drop would likely only happen if Gulutzan is stupid enough to put Wideman back in the #4 spot. Move Engelland up, put Wideman in at #6, and we should hopefully be able to weather the storm. Though yeah, it is a hit.

I say a prayer when I wake up every day. I never involve God in the game of Hockey, Football or Baseball. I broke that rule today. I am really worried about losing Dougie and Stone.

Assuming Dougie can play, it's basically how they were just before putting Stone in, except you get Bart instead of Kulak, which is good.

During the brief time when they elevated switched Engelland and Wideman they were doing pretty well. Not the 8 game streak but still winning hockey.

If both guys are out we will likely see Brodano play 30 min a game. Wideman will draw back in and Kulak likely as well as the 3rd pairing

Reading this all I can think of is Peter Maher saying that he'd given up diagnosing injuries from 200' away......
Me - I'm just hoping for the best.

Is there even a cure for being a werewolf? And would we really need it? I'd think it'd just make them both really hard to play against. Although maybe the penalties would add up.

It is amazing how quickly Michael Stone became a key member of this team - three weeks ago we hardly knew about him. And he has been playing better every single game with the Flames too. Let's just hope the news we get later today is at least better than many fear.
