Default March 6, just four games.

The Monday OOT will end early as there are no games in the Mountain and Pacific timezones.

Devin Shore scored at the 1:48 mark of the first period, 1-0 Stars after twenty minutes.

The Senators with two early goals, Bergeron with a late goal, and it is 2-1 Ottawa after one period.

Scoreless in the Rangers-Lightning game.

Third period of play

It is still scoreless in the Rangers-Lightning game now in the third period. The shots are 32-24 in favour of the Lightning in this duel of goalies.

It is still 2-1 for the Senators.

The Stars took a 3-1 lead after forty minutes and are hanging on to it.

The Sharks and Jets each scored in the first period and it remains 1-1 late in the second period. Pavelski and Morrissey are the goal scorers.

I went to elementary school with Josh Morrissey. Neat to see him doing well in the NHL.

Laine with a brutal giveaway and Boedeker scores shorthanded. Sharks 2-1.

Winnipeg is really good but too young or something. They are getting grade A chances but they give up too much and they don't score on enough of the offense they create.

Zibanejad scores the winning goal in overtime! The Rangers win 1-0, the goalies were the show.

The Stars are starting to shine again as they beat the Capitals 4-2.

They take an inordinate amount of stupid penalties.

Thornton. Great passer. Gotta love that guy. Nice work grounding the Jets tonight.

I trust in the snake, but, it isn't a bad thing also to see all our chasers stumble down the stretch.

For penalties taken, they've been at or near the top of the league consistently under Maurice. This should greatly concern fans and management.

They're wasting a really talented group.

Thornton only 13th player in NHL history with 1000 assists, with much of it played in a low scoring era. And yet isn't one of the top 100 players.

Love that guy. Shame he wasn't centering Iginla with the Flames.

The Senators are on a 3 game winning streak as they beat the Bruins 4-2 in. The teams traded PPGs in the 3rd period and then Burrows scored the empty net goal to seal the win. The Sens now have an 8 point cushion on the 9th place Leafs. "There was a strange turn of events in the third when it appeared Hoffman was going to take a slashing penalty, but then the officials overturned the call after realizing Marchand's stick had broken in the act of shooting."

That was a great game between the Rangers and Lightning even though it was low scoring, 1-0 Rangers. Jim Hughson would've been saying "great save" many times through out the game. Zibanejad's OT winner was on a breakaway. The win puts the Rangers just 2 points back of the BJs and Penguins. The single point for Tampa Bay puts them just 2 back of the Islanders for 8th place.

The damn Sharkies beat the Jets 3-2 in reg time and sweep the season series. The Sharks back up goalie, Aaron Dell, was in net and played well facing 33 shots.

The Stars continue their late season push to a playoff spot as they defeat the Capitals 4-2 which puts them just 5 points back of the Blues. Lehtonen suprisingly played well in net for Dallas as he faced 44 shots. The Stars had a 3-0 lead and Holtby was pulled after he let the 3rd goal in on 11 shots. Weird stats here, the Stars are 10-0-2 against the Capitals in the past 12 games and Holtby is 0-4 vs. the Stars.
