Surprisingly, the Islanders will not be playing Edmonton on the second of back to backs this time. They play them Tuesday.

I think period one of game 2 against the Oilers was higher.

Agreed. I remember a similar period against the Leafs last season that was close but this one was more dominant.
Debrusk actually thought the Islanders came out better? They didn't even have a scoring chance that period. Chances must have been 12-0.

21 shots, NYI had 8 blocks (felt like 15), and also a lot of close in deflections just wide mainly by Tkachuk.
Islanders are lucky its only 4-0, wow what a period.

if they win this game, the Flames' playoff probability goes up to over 92 percent. I would have laughed hysterically if somebody had told me that in November.

Am I allowed to get all cocky and say "I told you so!" to all the Ferland doubters? Or has he not been doing it long enough yet?

Not trying to be a dick but it might not matter to you but it does matter to 99.999% of the players who play in the NHL.

I guess Tarps-R-Us needed Rogers pants back. Look for them hanging at a car wash near you.

Fantastic period by the Flames. They look awesome even though Griess was standing on his head.
We want 10!

How do you know it matters?
Why would some random player in Arizona care if someone wears 66?

Flames Vs Tavares
I'm not one to beat a dead horse, but Roger Millions needs a new tailor or stylist. The most consistent thing about his wardrobe these past few games is he looks like he's wearing a diaper.

I really like how the Flames have bodies going to the net.
Used to drive me crazy that we would never seem to have anyone in front. Even on the pp.
Really like this system.
