Ava broadcast ripping Soderberg for a mistake that "doesn't even happen in the pee wee level!".

If Sakic brought in Shane O'Brien so he could plan the teams year end trip to Vegas right now it would be the best move he's made this year. Awful GM.

Columbus Ottawa is the game to watch right now.

Watching the Sens game now, but was watching the Jets-Avs game earlier cuz I couldn't turn away. I was just amazed at how much of a train wreck the Avs are.

The Habs look to be in control of their division as they now lead 4-1 over the Rangers. This could be a first round playoff series.

Chicago and Nashville trade goals back to back.

3-2 Chicago.

The Senators score the empty net goal, 3-1 over the BJs.

The Stars are hanging on to their 2-1 lead over the Panthers.

Personally, I think everyone's getting a little ahead of everything during this Flames win streak, when speaking about the Preds/Kings/Blues. Maybe it's because it feels so late in the season, but there's still about 40 points for each team to win or lose, that's a ton.

One hot/cold streak could have St. Louis jumping back in the division spot and Nashville being our competition, so of course we're still actively hoping for them to lose.

And not to go all polak, but even the sentiment that the Kings are pretty much done is very premature, as teams often have a short losing streak after a winning one, and we could easily be sitting here going "Holy crap, the Kings are four points up on us" if we hit a minor bump.

TLDR: Long season, 40 points left up for grabs, we're not even close to being past cheering for Preds losses. Preds are 6 points up, Blues have a game in hand, that's not firm with 20 games left.

Despite 45 shots on Lehtonen, the Panthers only manage to score 1 goal against the defensively porous Dallas Stars. Right on cue, after multiple great chances wasted, John Klingberg scores on a broken play deflection in the last minute of the 3rd to give the Stars a 2-1 victory over the Panthers.

Florida is finding new and exciting ways to lose games this year. Just nothing going right all year long. Still can't score even with healthy Huberdeau and Barkov, and with the addition of Vanek.

I blame Rowe.

Still cannot believe he's in the NHL.

edit: It gets worse! He's in the 2nd year of a 3yr x $2M AAV deal! Holy Christ, Sakic, what are you thinking?

I was always there, even when others were calling Gulutzan "Eakins 2.0", I was saying this team was on the way to being good.

I was just hoping to be able to watch some playoff games live again this year. Last year was a lot of fun even though they lost in the first round.

I'm just surprised he didn't go behind the net first, then into the slot, then behind the net again and then to the blue line and let a weak floater to the net go.

Is there any doubt that Laine is the proper choice for rookie of the year?

That's perfectly fair. Getting to attend playoffs live is something worth rooting for. Hopefully the Flames can do them a solid tomorrow.
